A missing cover or an awkward hole does not need to become a big renovation. We make grates around your opening, with a plain grid or slotted pattern when all you want is a tidy, practical fix.
Start with the hole, not the old cover.
Measure the empty opening from left to right and top to bottom. Check more than one point if the edges are uneven. An old cover may hide part of the hole, so its outside size is not enough to describe the opening. Record any differences in your request.
Overlap is the part that sits on the wall.
Choose how far the cover should extend beyond each edge of the hole. For a 100 mm wide by 80 mm tall opening, 10 mm of overlap on every side gives a 120 mm by 100 mm outer cover. This describes the requested size; the final proof also accounts for mounting and fit. If trim leaves less space on one side, tell us which side and how much room remains.
How will it stay in place?
Tell us whether you want to reuse screw holes, add new fixings or discuss a locating lip. Measure existing hole positions from their centers and include a dimensioned sketch if the arrangement is unusual. Mention the wall surface, anything immediately behind the opening and whether the cover must be removable. Do not assume a decorative cover provides a structural fixing.
A plain grate is a complete order.

Indoor opening or exterior wall?
For an outside wall, select Exterior opening in the form and describe sun, rain, temperature and the surface it will attach to. If the opening serves an appliance, required ventilation or another safety-critical function, identify it before requesting a replacement. Airflow, weather protection and suitability need specific review; a pattern preview is not a performance rating.
