What we collect and why.

When you submit a request, we collect your name, email, delivery ZIP, measurements, design choices, notes and any files you attach. We use these to assess the project, answer questions and prepare your quote and proof.

If you proceed, we retain your approved design version, approval name and timestamp, order amounts, payment status, shipping address, tracking, messages sent through your project page and related correspondence. These records help us make the agreed item, deliver it, handle support and maintain business records.

Our hosting services also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the website, such as connection and request information. The enquiry endpoint uses a temporary, hourly hash derived from connection information to limit repeated submissions.

Who helps us run the shop.

Our service providers process information needed for their work: OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure for the website, database and file storage; Resend and Google Workspace for project emails; Stripe for payment and checkout; and the selected carrier for delivery. Authorized people fulfilling your order receive the information needed to make and ship it.

Stripe handles payment card details on its checkout. We receive payment references, status, amounts and shipping details, not your full card number. Some website fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives the usual connection information needed to serve them.

We do not sell your project information or use your enquiry to enroll you in promotional emails. We may disclose information when required by law or to protect against fraud or misuse.

Files and private links.

Original request attachments are held in private storage and accessed through the restricted owner inbox. Your design proof and order information are available through your private project link. Anyone who has that link can access the project, so do not post or forward it publicly.

Only send files relevant to the cover. Do not upload identity documents, passwords, payment details or other sensitive material. Contact us promptly if a project link has been shared accidentally.

Keeping and updating your information.

We retain information while handling your request and order, and as needed for support, accounting, tax, dispute resolution and other legitimate business recordkeeping. A deletion request may not cover records we must retain for those purposes.

To ask about your information, correct it or request deletion, email outreach@aperturemade.com from the address associated with your request and include your AM reference if available. We may need to verify the request before sharing or changing records.
