A cabinet grille sized around your cutout.
Finish an odd-sized cabinet or furniture opening with a grille made around its dimensions. Choose a quiet, single-color pattern or a personal detail that belongs in the room.
Measure the cutout, not the door.
Record the width and height of the empty cutout. Measure at several points if the edges are not straight. For a round or irregular opening, add the diameter or a dimensioned outline in the notes and attach a drawing. The full cabinet-door size does not tell us the cover size.
Panel thickness changes the fixing.
Measure through the panel at an accessible cut edge. Note whether it is solid, hollow or has an edge profile. Check inside the cabinet for shelves, hinges, cables and anything that would interfere with a locating lip or fixing. Tell us if the cover needs to lift out for access.
Choose the overlap.
Overlap is how far the cover extends beyond the cutout onto the panel. You can specify it on each side; tell us if a handle, hinge or surrounding trim limits the space. A 200 mm wide opening with 10 mm overlap on each side would have a 220 mm overall cover width before the final design is reviewed.
A ventilation grille still needs a purpose.
If you are covering an opening for equipment ventilation, describe the equipment and any required free opening area from its manufacturer. A visual pattern alone does not establish airflow, heat resistance or suitability. We review the intended setting and material before accepting a design. Do not replace a required safety or fire-rated component with an unrated decorative cover.
